"The Kid" was back in business at the $31,000 Pontiac Open ---- Billy Hardwick of San Mateo, Calif., won his second PBA tournament in 1964. The 23-year-old Californian, who took all honors on the 1963 tour ---- leading money winner, leading average shooter and PBA National champ ---- reeled off three victories in the televised finals to add $4,000 to his money belt. Hardwick started out with a whopping 234-181 win over Fred Lening, clipped Bill Allen, 268-207, and then won the title with a 213-196 win over Bourdase.
