Carmen Salvino and Randy Pederson combined for five consecutive strikes midway through the title game to fuel a 221-202 decision over Billy Walden and Ron Palombi Jr. and win the $140,000 PBA Senior/Touring Pro Doubles Championship.

The animated team of Salvino and Pederson put on a show in match play, posting a 13-4-1 record after qualifying second in their respective divisions after 18 games. Both past winners of the PBA National Championship, Salvino notched that title In 1962 (the year his partner was born) while Pederson wore the prestigious National Championship crown in 1987.
