Since squeaking into match play by qualifying 22nd, Tony Reyes of San Bruno, Calif., has made a steady march to the front of the field after two rounds of match play in the Denny’s Dick Weber Open at Fountain Bowl.

After a tough outing in the recent H&R Block Tournament of Champions in Las Vegas where he was trying for his fourth consecutive “major” title, PBA and USBC Hall of Famer Norm Duke emerged as the qualifying leader at the Denny’s Dick Weber Open at Fountain Bowl Thursday afternoon.

Two-handed Australian pro bowler Jason Belmonte is featured in a front page story in Thursday’s print edition of The Wall Street Journal.
