Barnes Bounces Back

Many people predicted after his latest disappointment in a title match that Chris Barnes would break out of his slump in a big way. They were right. Just two weeks after one of the biggest mistakes of his career, Barnes responded with his ninth career title, winning the 2008 Bayer Classic.

Chris Barnes knows as well as anyone the only way to break a bad stretch of luck on television is to keep making the championship round. Barnes defeated Sean Rash, 4-1, Friday in the 2008 Bayer Classic Round of 8 at Oasis Lanes to advance to his fourth consecutive championship round.
