Doug Kent became the sixth bowler in Denny’s PBA Tour history to win two Majors in one season, defeating Chris Barnes, 237-216, Sunday to win the 2007 Denny’s World Championship at DeVos Place.

The PBA announced today the list of 14 Denny’s PBA Tour All-Stars fans can vote for to earn the final spot in the 2007 Motel 6 Roll to Riches, a special postseason event which features a winner-take-all $150,000 top prize.

While he hasn’t had the type of year he is accustomed to and is in danger of not being exempt on the 2007-08 Denny’s PBA Tour, PBA Hall of Famer Brian Voss isn’t thinking of an exemption, instead focusing on winning his second career PBA Major.

Coming into this week, Denny’s PBA Tour veteran Tim Criss was staring down the end of his 15-year career. At 39th in the PBA World Point Rankings, he needs a strong performance to regain an exemption for the 2006-07 season.
