Williams is now the PBA Tour's all-time titles leader with 46. He passed Earl Anthony with his 42nd title in the Dydo Japan Cup 2006 after tying Anthony with win No. 41 in the 2006 Denny's World Championship. He is a six-time PBA Player of the Year (1986, '93, '96, '97, '98, '03). He holds the all-time record for career earnings with over $3.8 million. Known as "Deadeye" among his peers, Williams remains one of the most recognized names on tour and a threat to win any tournament he enters as a result of his versatility. He has won the George Young High Average Award six times and the Harry Smith Point Leader Award six times. His seven Major titles is second all time.
