2006-07: Repeated Sean Rash’s historic feat when he became the second bowler to win a title after advancing through the Denny’s PBA Tour Qualifying Round… Coincidentally, Mineman’s title came in the same building as Rash’s title, as he captured the 2007 Bayer Classic at Emerson Lanes in Parkersburg, W.Va., a year after Rash won the 2006 West Virginia Championship… In what was at the time the largest field for a Denny’s PBA Tour Qualifying Round, Mineman finished fifth out of 114 bowlers to earn one of seven spots into the Round of 64… Finished 12th in the Round of 64 to advance to match play for just the seventh time in 44 career events… Held off Tommy Jones, 4-3, in the Round of 32, going ahead 3-1 before Jones came back to win the next two games, but winning game seven, 249-237… Then defeated Mike Scroggins, 4-2, in the Round of 16 and Eugene McCune, 4-1, to advance to his first career championship round… Became the 76th bowler in history to win a title in his first career TV appearance, defeating Dale Traber, 217-173, and Mike Machuga, 223-202, for the title… Only other Round of 64 appearance came in the first TQR of the season in the 2006 Motor City Classic… Finished 45th overall… Finished 19th in the PBA Tournament of Champions, his best career finish in a Major… Missed the Round of 64 cut twice by just four spots, taking 68th overall in both the Pepsi Championship and the Lake County Indiana Classic… Also missed by just five spots in the Beltway Classic.
